The design of the Garmin MARQ 2 Golfer is engineered using only premium materials including a 46mm titanium case that sits remarkably lightweight on the wrist. On top, there’s a gorgeous green ceramic bezel, a material renowned for its scratch resistance, which delivers a custom etched 18 hole scale so you can display your last round’s score and relive the excitement long after the 18th hole. Finalising the exterior of the golfing smartwatch is sapphire crystal glass, a 100 metre water resistant rating and a seamless French Jacquard weave nylon strap inspired by the colours of the course.
AMOLED Touchscreen Display
A real novelty for the recently released Garmin MARQ 2 collection is the introduction of an AMOLED display. Previously, the 2019 Garmin MARQ collection boasted a memory-in-pixel display with a 260 x 260 pixel display resolution. Now, the AMOLED screen delivers even brighter colours, deeper blacks and improved responsiveness as well as a pixel resolution of 390 x 390. The touchscreen display remains protected by domed sapphire crystal glass for additional levels of scratch resistance.
16 Day Battery Life
Picture this: you’re taking part in an international golfing competition and you’re just about to take off from the runway and begin your adventure. Not to worry, the design impresses with a battery life of up to 16 days in smartwatch mode – that’s an extra 4 days compared to the original MARQ. Virtual Caddie

The app appeared on the original MARQ Golfer as well as several of the Garmin Approach models. Now updated with the brand’s highest tech, the app appears on the Garmin MARQ II Golfer continuing to give you complete advice on aspects like wind speed and direction. It will also advise on which club to use based on the distance and where to aim your shot. The Virtual Caddie feature is accessed when paired with a compatible smartphone.

42,000 Preloaded Courses
Adding an extra thousand courses to its already substantial portfolio of preloaded golf courses, the new Garmin MARQ Gen 2 Golfer now boasts over 42,000 full-colour CourseView maps of golf courses from all around the world. Garmin are always constantly updating these too, so keep an eye out for updates on the courses you play most often. These maps also work in line with the PlaysLike Distance feature which adjusts yardages to account for uphill and downhill shots so you can select the best club for the situation.
Club Tracking
Delivered with your Garmin MARQ 2 Golfer watch is an Approach® CT10 club tracking sensor which you can install on each club and gain insight into your performance. The sensor will automatically detect when a club is used and communicate it with your smartphone to record the location of each shot, improving the AutoShot game tracking experience and capabilities. The sensors even detect putts and light chip shots. Assisting you even further is the PinPointer feature which guides you to the direction of the pin so you can make the most out of each swing.
Green View
Now displayed on a crisp full-colour, touchscreen AMOLED display, Garmin’s Green View feature looks better than ever. This gives you each green’s true shape from wherever you are on the course, and it allows you to move the pin for greater accuracy. The GoGreen app works alongside this to reference the front, middle and back of the green, so you can make the shot you want while the Hazard View allows you to quickly scroll through each hazard on the map and get critical distance information so you know what to avoid.
