Jewellery & Watch News
One of the biggest luxury watch events of the year has arrived, the Bremont Townhouse, and with it we’re welcomed to a huge selection of new Bremont watches. Rather than exhibiting their releases overseas at events like Baselworld and Watches & Wonders, for the last six years Bremont have hosted their own showcase. For the first time however, the British watch manufacturer have opted to host at their freshly built manufacturing facility The Wing. With an exclusive invite to the event, C W Sellors can proudly reveal to all our customers the new Bremont Townhouse 2022 watch releases.
Bremont Supermarine WR-22 Chronograph
Alongside a 45-piece limited edition Bremont Williams Box Set which includes two watches and a racing experience, Bremont have revealed the first official timepiece designed in partnership with the Williams Formula One motor racing team, the Bremont Supermarine WR-22 Chronograph. Bremont was announced as the Official Timing and Watch Partner for the Williams Formula One team last year and so the release of a Bremont and Williams watch was anticipated by many. The design has not disappointed featuring a sporty panda dial with a white backdrop, black snailed chronograph counters, a red chronograph seconds hand and electric blue accents on the small seconds counter at 9 o’clock and the 12 hour counter at 6 o’clock. This combination of colours perfectly embodies the livery of the Williams’ race car drivers. Powering the chronograph complication is the BE-53AE automatic winding movement, a COSC certified calibre viewable through the case back alongside its custom-decorated rotor inscribed with the Williams Racing logo and shaped like that of a a car tyre rim. The Bremont WR-22 Chronograph also features a 43mm stainless steel case, scratch resistant sapphire crystal, a 200 metre water resistant rating and a bi-directional rotating bezel with ceramic insert with tachymeter scale.

Bremont Supermarine S502 Jet
In the Bremont collections, the term ‘Jet’ has always referenced a watch with a black DLC coating. As part of their Bremont Townhouse 2022 collections, the brand have launched two of these editions inspired by high-risk military night operations, the first being this Bremont Supermarine S502 Jet watch. Featuring an anti-reflective black DLC coated stainless steel case, the 43mm design offers essential cover and security during late night missions which extends out into a matching black dial and a choice of a black rubber or black leather strap. When operating under a clock of darkness, senses are heightened and visibility is key, so as expected the Bremont Supermarine S502 Jet watch features a high-degree of blue Superluminova and Bremont’s vintage ’51’ lume across the dial. You can also find a black ceramic unidirectional bezel, a burnt orange GMT hand and a whopping 500 metre water resistant rating. The latter is assisted by an automatic helium escape valve, crown protector and screw down case back engraved with the image of the Supermarine Seaplane.
Specs:
- Case: 43mm, black DLC stainless steel, black ceramic insert unidirectional bezel with 60 minute scale, 500 metre water resistance, closed case back, sapphire crystal glass

Bremont Supermarine Chrono Jet
The second ‘Jet’ timepiece revealed at Bremont’s Townhouse 2022 event is the Bremont Supermarine Chrono Jet. Like the design above, it promises to be a durable, tactical timepiece for night operations and has been designed and tested by Bremont ambassadors and ex Special Forces personnel Jason Fox and Aldo Kane. Other than its new black DLC finish, the design follows in the footsteps of last year’s Supermarine Chrono collection with a 43mm diameter and slender 15.8mm height, dimensions hard to find in a sports chronograph. Despite its size, the Bremont Supermarine Chrono Jet makes room for a chronometer certified automatic movement, the BE-93-2AV calibre with a power reserve of 42 hours, GMT hand, date window and full chronograph complication. The watch also delivers a screw down crown, screw down chronograph pushers, a bi-directional rotating bezel with an etched ceramic insert detailed with a 24 hour scale and a 200 metre water resistance. At the centre, a matching black dial delivers bronze hands with Superluminova and contrasting red detailing for easy legibility.
Specs:
- Case: 43mm, black DLC stainless steel, black ceramic insert bidirectional bezel with 24 hour scale, 200 metre water resistance, exhibition case back, sapphire crystal glass

Bremont Argonaut Bronze
Following the launch of the Bremont Broadsword Bronze collection in 2020, it was only a matter of time before the British watch manufacturer applied the patina-pending material further across their Armed Forces collection. Now, the Bremont Argonaut receives bronze treatment with the release of the Bremont Argonaut Bronze watch. As with all references in the Bremont Armed Forces collection, this new design pays tribute to Her Majesty’s Armed Forces and, as a dive watch, the Argonaut is specifically dedicated to the Navy. The 42mm CuSn8 bronze case will naturally develop a patina over time, reacting to the moisture and pH levels in the air and on your skin. Unchanging however is the 42mm diameter, 300 metre water resistant rating and internal rotating bezel which can be managed using the unique crown at 4 o’clock. The Bremont Argonaut Bronze watch also delivers sapphire crystal glass, a closed case back detailed with the Heraldic Badges of the three services and a choice of two dials, the first a black military dial and the second a blue naval ‘sargasso’ dial. Both faces come with Superluminova bronze hands, matching indexes, a red tipped seconds hand and pair with a coloured sailcloth strap to match their centrepiece.
Specs:
- Case: 42mm, CuSn8 bronze, internal rotating bezel, 300 metre water resistance, engraved closed case back, sapphire crystal glass
- Dial: Black or blue dial with bronze hands and indexes, Superluminova inserts, red tipped seconds hand
- Movement: Calibre BE-92AV automatic, chronometer, 25 Jewels, Glucydur balance wheel, Anachron balance spring, Nivaflex mainspring, 28,800bph (4Hz), 38-hour power reserve, hours, minutes, seconds, date
- Strap: Black or blue sailcloth
Bremont Supermarine Descent II
For the next Bremont Townhouse 2022 release, you’ll need to cast your mind back to the brand’s first ever limited edition dive watch, the Bremont Supermarine Descent. The very same black centrepiece and pastel blue accents is now revived within the new Bremont Supermarine Descent II watch, a non-limited model with an aviation-grade titanium 43mm case, bronze unidirectional rotating bezel and a whopping 500 metre water resistance. Like all of Bremont’s watches, the case is engineered using their unique Trip-Tick three-piece case construction and features a DLC treated barrel and an automatic helium escape valve. At the centre, a black metal dial delivers bronze hands for the hours, minutes and seconds, a grey GMT hand and a date window at 3 o’clock all powered by the chronometer-certified BE-93-2AV automatic movement. To restore the iconic pastel blue accents found on the bezel of the original Descent watch, the new Bremont Supermarine Descent II is available on a pastel blue rubber strap or for a more classic look, you can opt for a black rubber band.
Specs:
- Case: 43mm, aviation-grade titanium, bronze unidirectional rotating bezel with 60 minute scale, 500 metre water resistance, exhibition case back, sapphire crystal glass
- Dial: Black with bronze hands and indexes, Superluminova inserts
- Movement: Calibre BE-93-2AV automatic, chronometer, 25 Jewels, Glucydur balance wheel, Anachron balance spring, Nivaflex mainspring, 28,800bph (4Hz), 42-hour power reserve, hours, minutes, seconds, GMT, date

Bremont Airco Jet
The Bremont Airco watch collection was originally formed in 2017 designed to celebrate the history of aviation wristwatches, in particular the classically styled three-hand pilot’s watches that could be found in the cockpit of World War II aircrafts. Named in tribute to one of the earliest British Military Aircraft manufacturers ‘The Aircraft Manufacturing Company Limited’, the series welcomes its first black DLC treated stainless steel case with the launch of the Bremont Airco Jet watch. It’s 40mm case is fully coated in black DLC other than its contrasting steel crown, case back and pin buckle. To match, the dial is also finished in black and yet still ensures easy legibility with green Superluminova hands and white Arabic numerals. The red tipped seconds hand also smartly contrasts to the all-black aesthetic powered by the chronometer rated BE-92AV automatic calibre. The Bremont Airco Jet watch showcases the movement through its sapphire crystal exhibition case back when its not strapped to the wrist by the khaki sailcloth strap.
Specs:
- Case: 40mm, black DLC stainless steel, 100 metre water resistance, exhibition case back, sapphire crystal glass, screw down crown
- Dial: Black with white Arabic numerals, Superluminova hands, red tipped seconds hand
- Movement: Calibre BE-92AV automatic, 25 Jewels, Glucydur balance wheel, Anachron balance spring, Nivaflex mainspring, 28,800bph (4Hz), 38-hour power reserve, hours, minutes, seconds, date

Bremont Dambuster Limited Edition
The final piece to show you from Bremont’s Townhouse 2022 event is arguably our favourite. The Bremont Dambuster Limited Edition has been launched to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Lancaster Bomber first seeing service in 1942, and the subsequent Dambusters Raid in 1943. It’s a story of bravery and sacrifice, worthy of a Bremont watch with such detail as this. The case back itself is full of references to the event including an engraving of the Avro Lancaster and the heraldic badge of the 617 squadron, the call signs of the 8 Lancaster Bombers that never returned and the beams of the Lancaster’s low level Aldis lights. The Bremont Dambuster watch is also limited to 232 pieces as a reference to the speed at which the Lancaster had to fly to successfully bounce the bomb with it spinning at exactly 500rpm when dropped. The rest of the watch beautifully commemorates 1940’s military watches with a 42mm stainless steel case, Monopusher chronograph movement, a black military dial inspired by the ‘Dirty Dozen’ watches and aviator style hands for the hours and minutes.
Specs:
- Case: 42mm, stainless steel, 100 metre water resistance, engraved closed case back, sapphire crystal glass
- Dial: Black with white and vintage Superluminova, red seconds hand, matte black chronograph counters
- Movement: Calibre BE-51AE automatic chronometer, 27 Jewels, Glucydur balance wheel, Anachron balance spring, Nivaflex mainspring, 28,800bph (4Hz), 48-hour power reserve, hours, minutes, central chronograph seconds, small seconds, 30 minute counter, date
- Strap: Black sailcloth
