In their female-led design studio in Paddington, the Astley Clarke team focuses on creating radiant diamond jewellery pieces that can be worn however, wherever and whenever you wish. The Astley Clarke Icon jewellery line is a perfect example of that, offering versatile pieces that look stunning alone or as a statement piece when stacked together. The philosophy behind the collection is to put the diamond gemstone centre stage by placing thousands of tiny diamonds together for an unmissable radiance. This type of setting is known as pave and creates a sparkle like no other gemstone setting.
The Astley Clarke Icon jewellery collection is largely inspired by the ancient technique of micro-mosaics to create an intricate pattern with pave diamonds. The showstopping result sees concentric circles of glorious diamonds set close together into solid 14 carat gold. The core Astley Clarke Icon jewellery line features a range of white, rose and yellow gold designs characterised entirely by this pave setting. The diamonds are set onto rounded fixtures, whether it be circle pendants, drop earrings, rings or bracelets. Some of the larger diamond necklaces are also secret lockets which can be personalised with engravings and a photograph.
For those with a penchant for daintier, more minimalistic jewellery, the Astley Clark Icon Mini jewellery pieces deliver the same pave diamond decoration but on smaller settings. Many of the necklaces and earrings feature a single diamond at the centre surrounded by a ring of pave diamonds. In contrast, the Astley Clarke Icon Nova jewellery collection opts for larger settings taking inspiration from astral explosions frozen in time.
