Panerai Submersible

Paying homage to the manufacturer’s aquatic heritage dating back to 1936, Panerai Luminor Submersible watches feature watertight cases, large cushion-shaped profiles and crown-protecting bridges that are ideal for plenty of underwater activity. Panerai became an expert in producing luminous material from 1916 onwards after it unveiled its Radiomir material. The luminescent properties of the material featured in Panerai watches up until 1949 when a safer tritium-base material was invented. The material was named Luminor.

Today, all Panerai watches are known for their luminous, highly legible dials and their military-inspired tool-like aesthetics. The very first Luminor Submersible watch arrived in 1998. It boasted a winning combination of a curved cushion-shaped profile and an innovative rotating bezel designed for the Egyptian Navy in 1956. Fast forward a few decades and the Luminor Submersible watches you see here today at C W Sellors are a testament to Panerai’s role in producing expert dive watches for daring underwater exploration. Choose from models like the Luminor Submersible Bianco and Luminor Submersible Blu Notte designs from within this collection – each one displayed inside an authentic Panerai presentation box.
