Breitling’s iconic Top Time watch returns, this time as two stunning editions in pastel blue or black and white powered by the brand’s in-house B01 mechanical movement. The Breitling Top Time Deus watch remains the result of the collaboration between the Swiss watch manufacturer and Australian lifestyle brand Deus Ex Machina. It sports a reverse panda tri-compax dial with the familiar red and orange accents and a 41mm steel case. Meanwhile, the Breitling Top Time Triumph watch has been created in partnership with British motorcycle manufacturer Triumph and elects a stunning icy blue bi-compax display powered by the B01 movement.
The Breitling Top Time B01 Deus Watch
The third timepiece created in collaboration with Deus Ex Machina, the new 2023 Breitling Top Time B01 Deus watch will once again appeal to bikers, boarders and backpackers with its freedom-inspired aesthetic. The 41mm stainless steel case offers up all the specs of Breitling’s Top Time line including polished and brushed finishings, statement mushroom-shaped chronograph pushers and a knurled crown offering a 30 metre water resistant rating. The bezel is fixed and pairs with convex sapphire crystal glass with anti-reflective coating on both sides. Whereas previous Breitling Top Time Deus watches had snapped case backs adorned with special engravings, the new 2023 Breitling Top Time B01 Deus watch boasts an exhibition case back so you can enjoy the new B01 movement housed within.
The Breitling B01 automatic winding calibre is a worthy engine of the Breitling Top Time B01 Deus watch. It is known as one of the luxury watch brand’s most powerful in-house movements offering 47 jewels, a frequency of 28,800vph and a weekend-proof 70 hour power reserve. Thanks to the B01 movement, for the first time the Breitling Top Time B01 Deus watch also enjoys a tri-compax display. It also delivers central hours, minutes and chronograph seconds hands and three counters for the small seconds, 12 hours and 30 minute minutes. The counters are white and “squircle”-shaped, set upon a black backdrop and joined by red and orange accents on the tachymeter scale and lightening bolt-shaped chronograph hand. Completing the Breitling Top Time B01 Deus watch is a black perforated leather strap or a mesh-style steel bracelet.
The Breitling Top Time B01 Triumph Watch
Last year, Breitling announced a new partnership with motorcycle manufacturer Triumph and in celebration of their newfound friendship, they teamed up to create a magnificent ice blue-dialled Breitling Top Time Triumph watch and a head-turning bike to match. Following on from this release, the duo has launched a second timepiece that looks almost exact to the first. The Breitling Top Time B01 Triumph watch has the same 41mm stainless steel case and brushed bowtie motif on the ice blue dial but rather than offering the Breitling Calibre 23 movement, it has been upgraded to include the Breitling B01 movement.
As mentioned, the Breitling Calibre B01 is one of Breitling’s most powerful movements offering 47 jewels, a frequency of 28,800vph and a weekend-proof 70 hour power reserve. You can enjoy the movement through the exhibition case back of the Breitling Top Time B01 Triumph watch. On the pastel blue dial, which many fans have nicknamed the “Zorro” dial for its unique bowtie decoration, it delivers central hands for the hours, minutes and chronograph seconds and two black “squircle” subsidiary dials for the small seconds and 30 minutes counter. The Triumph logo is also neatly placed at 6 o’clock. The Breitling Top Time B01 Triumph watch is finalised by a perforated black leather strap or a mesh-style steel bracelet.
