With the 2022 Guinness Six Nations Championship just days away, Bremont have revealed their latest limited edition designed in collaboration with the Rugby Football Union. The new Bremont S300 RFU 2022 watch continues to celebrate what it means to be ‘made in England’ with a stunning rose-embossed dial and a design dressed in the England team’s livery.
The partnership between Bremont and the RFU began back in 2020 when the British watch manufacturer announced they were the new Official Timing Partner to both England Rugby and Twickenham Stadium. From then on, Twickenham stadiums has been adorned with official Bremont time-related match day content including match clocks showcased around the arena. Alongside this, they also launched their first England Rugby-inspired timepiece nicknamed the “Bremont Rose”. A year later and for the 2021 season, Bremont honoured a veritable milestone in British sporting history, the 150th anniversary of the RFU with the Bremont RFU 150 Limited Edition watch. Fast forward another twelve months and Bremont have now unveiled their third instalment for the partnership with the 150-piece limited edition Bremont S300 RFU 2022 watch.

As its name suggests, the new Bremont S300 RFU 2020 watch takes much of its architecture from the Supermarine Type 300 series by Bremont, a design which offers a smaller 40mm case size for lovers of COSC-certified divers watches. As a divers watch at heart, the stainless steel case of the Bremont S300 RFU watch has a water resistance of 300 metres helped by domed sapphire crystal glass with anti-reflective treatment, a screw in crown and a screw down case back. And yet it wouldn’t be an official Bremont RFU watch without some rugby-inspired tropes included with the latter engraved with the England Rugby rose.
The case of the Bremont S300 RFU 2022 watch continues to impress with a durable stainless steel 40mm case engineered using the brand’s famous Trip-Tick case construction which utilises a scratch resistant DLC case barrel. On top, the case then presents a stunning deep navy ceramic bezel that has been laser engraved with a 60 minute scale and fitted with useful unidirectional functionality. The bezel also features a Superluminova marker at 12 o’clock and several red accents as a nod to the England Rugby team’s kit colours.
The England team’s livery continues on the dial of the new Bremont S300 RFU watch with a bright white metal backdrop displaying matching white applied indexes, white Superluminova hands for the hours and minutes and a white date window at 3 o’clock. In contrast, the sweeping seconds hand is dressed in red and nods to the Cross of St. George. Although subtle, the real centrepiece to the dial is the embossed image of the England Rose at 6 o‘clock.
The movement responsible for powering the Bremont S300 RFU 2022 watch is the BE-92AV modified calibre, an automatic winding COSC-certified movement with 25 jewels, a frequency of 28,800vph and a power reserve of 38 hours. Securing the piece to the wrist is a classic three-row link stainless steel bracelet and a folding buckle.
