IWC Spitfire Automatic
The embodiment of a classic pilots watch, the IWC Spitfire Automatic brings to life the original IWC Mark 11 but with new materials, movements, and colour palettes. What was once a shiny silvery dial has been replaced with military-inspired aesthetics like the masculine black dialled variant paired with sophisticated stainless steel or our favourite, the handsome olive green dial balanced by an extraordinary full bronze case. The beauty of the IWC Spitfire Automatic Bronze comes from the unique patina developed from the case material; the more it is worn the darker the colour will go.
The IWC Spitfire Automatic watches are home to the new in-house IWC-manufactured 32110 calibre. The automatic winding movement provides central hands for hours, minutes and seconds and an impressive power reserve of 42 hours. The 39mm case protects the movement with a soft-iron inner case for defence against magnetic fields, a screw in crown with a water resistance of 60 metres, convex scratch resistant sapphire crystal glass and a screw down case back beautifully adorned with the image of a Spitfire plane.

IWC Spitfire Chronograph
For the first time ever, IWC have revealed a Pilots Chronograph with a movement from their 69000-calibre family. The IWC Spitfire Chronograph, with its reduced case size of 41mm, features the in-house IWC-manufactured 69380 calibre with a classic column wheel design. With its healthy power reserve of 46 hours, the automatic movement provides central hands for hours, minutes and seconds, small seconds at 6H, a day and date window at 3H, 12 hour counter at 9H and 30 minutes counter at 12H. Inspired by the colours found within the Spitfire’s cockpit, the IWC Spitfire Chronograph is available in three variations: a black dial with stainless steel case, a slate coloured dial with stainless steel case or another elegant olive coloured dial with full bronze case. Each model is also available on a variety of sophisticated stap options including brown calfskin leather, olive textile and a classic metal bracelet. Likewise paired with a screw in crown, 60 metre water resistant case, a Spitfire-inspired decorated case back and scratch resistant sapphire crystal glass, the IWC Spitfire Chronograph becomes an instantaneous rival against its three-hand counterpart.
