The new series also delivers impressive battery power. For the 43mm model, you can enjoy 10 days in smartwatch mode and 28 hours in GPS mode. The 47mm version promises 16 days in smartwatch mode and 47 hours in GPS mode. The larger 51mm model offers 29 days in smartwatch mode and 84 hours in GPS mode. To improve the robustness of the watch, Garmin also equips the Fenix 8 with a metal sensor guard that protects those important sensors from impact, shock and everyday damage.
