Everything You Need to Know About the Fenix 8

The new Fenix 8 comes in three different sizes. The smallest of the three is the 43mm model, followed by the medium size – a 47mm model. The largest of all three is the 51mm model. The variations offer the same styling and design, bar a few small differences, which we’ll cover now.

The Garmin Fenix 8 has to be one of the most desirable adventure watches on the entire market. It combines all the brand’s top-end features into one simple package. The smallest 43mm model has a bezel made from stainless steel or titanium, while the two larger models feature a titanium bezel. All three offer a crisp and legible AMOLED display too. While the small size measures a 1.3-inch screen, the other two are slightly bigger, measuring a 1.4-inch screen. The screen is topped with a scratch-resistant and anti-reflective piece of sapphire crystal glass, enabling a clear and legible view of the display. The new Fenix 8 watches also feature an LED flashlight, built into the design to enable you to get the most out of your smartwatch, even in the dark.

In addition to its tough and durable case structure, the Fenix 8 features a built-in speaker and mic that lets you talk to friends and family while on the go. With this feature, you can take and make phone calls from your wrist once your smartphone is synced with your smartwatch. In addition to this, you can take advantage of your phone’s voice assistant and respond to messages easily and quickly. The watch’s off-grid voice command feature also lets you select watch controls even when your watch isn’t connected to your phone.

Even more impressive is the Garmin Fenix 8 watch’s health and fitness-related features. You can prime your body perfectly with this smartwatch, taking full advantage of its performance insights for improved endurance and resistance to injury. Tailor your exertion, your stamina and your training readiness with these features. You can even use the watch to track your recovery time between workouts to ensure you get the most out of your regime. The smartwatch offers 24/7 health and wellness monitoring that tracks your sleep, stress levels, respiration, and heart rate to list just a few examples.

But the Garmin Fenix 8 doesn’t just look after you at the gym. It also promises perfect ease when planning your hiking, running or biking routes in the great outdoors. You can plan an entire round-trip route using the smartwatch’s TopoActive maps, which enable you to download routes from anywhere in the world. You can also set your target distance by utilising the watch’s ABC sensors and SatIQ technology, which affords a built-in compass, gyroscope and barometer. The Fenix 8 watch’s multi-band GPS capability enables you to navigate the great outdoors effortlessly thanks to superior positioning accuracy that is faultless, wherever you choose to go. You needn’t worry about the most adventurous of hikes and trails with the watch’s ability to provide you with turn-by-turn directions and set your own target distances.

All three of the new Fenix 8 watches from Garmin offer a 40-meter water-resistant capability and feature metal leak-proof buttons that are effortless to control under the fingers. The new series also delivers impressive battery power. For the 43mm model, you can enjoy 10 days in smartwatch mode and 28 hours in GPS mode. The 47mm version promises 16 days in smartwatch mode and 47 hours in GPS mode. The larger 51mm model offers 29 days in smartwatch mode and 84 hours in GPS mode. To improve the robustness of the watch, Garmin also equips the Fenix 8 with a metal sensor guard that protects those important sensors from impact, shock and everyday damage.
