Panerai Luminor Due

Panerai Luminor Due watches capture a slimmed-down, dressed-up version of the iconic Luminor model. The name Luminor comes from the tritium-based luminous material that Panerai patented for use on its dials during the 1950s. Before this, the company had innovated a luminous material named Radiomir, which was later found to be unsafe to use in watches. Initially, Luminor material was extensively used in Panerai’s many military watches for frogmen of the Italian Navy. When Panerai watches became accessible to the general public in the 1990s, these watches, with luminous dials and bold, daring cushion-shaped cases took on a new role on the wrist of sports watch enthusiasts. The Luminor Due watch by Panerai is a dressier version of the original Luminor, appealing to those with slender wrists thanks to its smaller, more compact proportions.

Panerai Luminor Due watches can be explored here within our collections at C W Sellors. You can choose from models like the Goldtech Madreperla with an iridescent shimmering mother-of-pearl dial or the Due Luna – complete with a beautifully decorated moon phase indicator balancing the small seconds sub-dial at 9 o’clock. Ideal for female wrists, this model is fitted on a stunning pink alligator leather strap, injecting subtle tones of femininity into what is otherwise known as a masculine-heavy design. As with all Panerai watches, the timepieces from the Luminor Due collection all come complete with a genuine branded presentation box and official paperwork to extend and preserve the value of your chosen timepiece for years to come.
